Perceptions Plus
We are a small cottage industry that does custom matting, mounting and framing of art work. Linda teaches individual and small group art lessons to adults and children. John and Linda create original Wyoming art, custom stained glass, paintings, pottery and other art work. We work with several different media to help satisfy our customers as well as our own creative needs. If you have a custom art need you need to consult us.

A Combined Effort - Linda brings formal art training, and experience as an art educator. She has been involved with the fine arts most of her adult life, taught private classes, and taught in public school systems. John is a self taught artist. He has been involved in house construction and renovation for over 20 years. Working with design, wood, and glass. His approach to art is from a structural view point. Together they combine formal training, self taught concepts and structural principles to create art.. Their interests are wide spread, always looking at different media and trying new techniques. They each have favorite areas of emphasis. Linda is always looking for new methods to expose her students to and John loves experimenting. Their work covers both 2 and 3 dimensional art, crafts, and presentation though their framing. Their love for art is second only to love of God and family. Their efforts toward art work comes second only to their work in raising 6 children.

Framing                     

Perceptions Plus provides a less expensive way to frame and display art work. We are able to cut the cost of framing, over gallery costs, by having the business in our home, lowering overhead. We also make most of our own molding, with John’s woodworking. Some of our molding has been created to fulfill customer’s special needs. We frame all of our own work, work of other artists, and the general public. We pride ourselves in working with customers. We frame prints, photos, original art work and the out of the ordinary, like bird’s nests. Bring us items that you would like to display and we will do our best to work with you to fill your needs.

Art Classes       
Linda teaches art classes to young and old alike. She teaches individual or small classes, in watercolor, drawing or just about any other form of art or craft. Linda is the art teacher at the local high school.

We also create our own art, John: oil painting, glass work, and pottery, Linda: watercolor painting, pastels, drawings, and charcoal renderings, John and Linda stained glass work. We will also produce custom art work; calligraphy, caricatures, reproductions, and many unusual and unique works to meet our customers needs.
